Be The One, Be You!

II Chronicles 16:9, “The eyes of the lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him”. Be the one God is searching for. Be the light. Be whomever it is God is calling you to be; there is no time for looking around at what others are doing. Time is passing you bye!

God knows who you are. He knows everything about you. He knows what your capable of. He knows your weaknesses and strengths.

I wonder what would happen if you stop beating yourself up and comparing yourself to others. I wonder what would happen if you stop trying to create another self. He made you a unique individual. You are wonderfully made and destined to be something great.

Be yourself.

It’s so easy to get caught up on social media-counting other people’s blessings and accomplishments; so often it becomes impossible to avoid comparing ourselves to others and devaluing who we are and who God made us to be.

The key is to remember no one can be you except you. God blessed you with special and unique qualities that only you have. He predestined you to do great things with your life, but, how difficult it must be to work towards those things if you’re focused on the next person. I know it’s hard, but again I wonder, what would happen if you turn off that switch in your brain that is constantly comparing, analyzing, and wondering. That may mean spending extra time with God, taking a break from social media, or distancing yourself from certain people - It may not be as hard as you think. Putting yourself in a situation to make useless comparisons and grow unwanted envy in your heart may cause more harm than good.

You’re too good for that!

God gave you this one life to live; don't waste it comparing, overanalyzing, and being envious of others. You can be the person who can actively make a difference in the lives of many, especially those that may be hurting.
