The South Florida People of Color (SFPoC) and Barry University in Miami Shore are sponsoring a unique panel discussion called “What is Black?” as part of SFPoC’s celebration of Black History Month in February. The panel will provide an intergenerational lens on Blackness in South Florida with a discussion featuring Haitian-Americans, Afro-Cuban Americans, African-Americans, Africans, Jamaicans and other speakers from the African diaspora.
